1.   Introduction:

Toxotis Shop Ltd (“we” or “us” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your Personal Data is collected, used, and disclosed by Toxotis Shop Ltd.

This Privacy Policy applies to our website, https://charityshoptoxotis.org/ (the “Site”), and its associate domains.

By accessing it or registering an account/submitting your orders or simply subscribing, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Data, as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

·         Services: refers to the services provided by Toxotis Shop Ltd: online shopping of products, which are made by members of Toxotis Charitable Foundation, as well as by artists or other third parties, all of which are donated to Toxotis Shop Ltd for sale, and that profits from such sales, are donated to Toxotis Charitable Foundation

 

·         Personal Data: means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly

 

·         You or your: a person or entity that is registered with Toxotis Shop Ltd to use the Services or orders without having an account or has subscribed to receive our newsletters

 

·         Cookies: small files of information generated by the Site and saved by your web browser. They are used to identify your browser, provide analytics and remember information about you, such as your login information

d)  When you place an order without creating an account:

·         Email

e)  To only subscribe to our newsletters:

·         Email to be submitted at the bottom of the Site

 

f)    History of orders (both when having an account and not):

·        Total number of orders, products bought per order, quantity, prices, date and time of each order etc.

·         Details provided in customer’s account or in orders made as a guest

 

4.   How do we use the data we collect?

Any of the information you submit to us or we collect from you through Cookies, may be used in the following ways:

·         To improve our Services and navigation through the Site

·         Regarding transactions, data is collected directly by Stripe. You may refer to its policies for further details.

 

5.   Do we share the data we collect with third-parties?

We engage with Stripe for credit card processing.

 

Via Cookies, we may also share portions of our log file data, including IP Addresses, for analytics purposes with third parties, such as web analytics partners. The IP Address may be used to estimate general location and other technographics such as connection speed, whether you have visited the Site through a shared location, and type of device used to visit the Services.

 

We may additionally disclose your Personal Data to government or law enforcement officials or private parties such as associates or service providers as we, in our sole discretion, believe its necessary or appropriate in order to respond to claims, legal process, to protect our rights and interests or those of a third party, the safety of the public or any person, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to otherwise comply with applicable court orders, laws, rules and regulations or to improve or provide our Services to you.

 

Furthermore, we will share your Personal Data with the courier companies we cooperate, to contact you to pick-up your orders. If you do not indicate which courier shop you prefer, they will take your order to the nearest one, following your Shipping address.

 

6.   Where do we store your Personal Data and for how long?

Your Personal Data we might collect while you navigate through the Site and use our Services, is stored within the European Union.

 

The Cyprus law 125(I) of 2018 “Providing for the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and for the free movement of such data” of the 31st of July 2018, applies regarding their safeguarding.

 

As to the retention of your Personal Data by any relevant third parties, such as Stripe and our web analytics partners, you may refer to their privacy policies.

 

In relation to the Site account you create though for using our Services or the history of your orders that is created automatically when you order without creating an account, you may request that we delete Personal Data from your account/profile created automatically when you no longer wish to use our Services, by emailing us at dpo@charityshoptoxotis.org and we will delete your Personal Data from your account/profile created automatically and let you know, without undue delay and at the latest within one month, unless we inform you for an extension also explaining the reasons for our delay. Upon deleting Personal Data from your account, you will no longer be able to access it.

 

Otherwise, we will delete your Personal Data if there have been 2 years since your last order placed.

 

You acknowledge and agree that if we erase your Personal Data from your account, you will not be able to access your account or any other information which is contained in your account.

 

This will not affect you from creating a new account any time in the future or placing an order without creating an account.

 

7.   How do we protect your Personal Data?

We have in place a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your Personal Data when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. We cannot however, ensure or warrant the absolute security of any information you transmit to us or guarantee that your information on the Services may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by a breach of any of our safeguards.

We use Cookies to identify the areas of the Site that you have visited. We use essential Cookies, for the appropriate functioning of the Site, such as for good connection and for adding products in the shopping basket and we also use analytics cookies, to give us an indication of your use of the Site, to find areas of improvement.
